TUCSON PSYCHOLOGIST DR. ALICE CHANG RECEIVES AWARD FROM THE AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION - 5/28/2018

(Tucson, AZ)-Dr. Alice F. Chang, recently retired psychologist noted for her work in medically related psychological issues and chronic illness, as well as being co-founder and President of the Academy for Cancer Wellness, was honored May 16 by the American Psychological Association (APA). As part of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Dr. Chang, a scientist and practitioner who was the first ethnic minority woman to serve on the APA Board of Directors, was awarded an Inspiring Histories, Inspiring Lives citation from the APA’s CEO, Arthur C. Evans, PhD, The award recognizes her outstanding commitment and contributions to psychology and education as a leader, mentor, advocate and scholar.
